CCLA Session 3, Washington D.C. Flight Confirmation Update
Many of you have inquired about the travel plans for the CCLA Session 3 in Washington D.C., May 2 -May 8, 2020. Rick mentioned that the group would probably depart out of Austin, but we found that a Houston departure provided better flights and fares. Below is the flight itinerary we are working to finalize, and must commit to on Tuesday, November 15, 2011. Your CCLA tuition will cover the flight expenses for each of the Class IV participants. Those traveling along in the Companion Program will be invoiced for their flight, along with any other expenses incurred, following the group’s return in May. While we understand some of you are considering spending a few extra days in DC following the session, it is necessary to make everyone aware that these group tickets are flight specific and cannot be used or exchanged for travel on other flights. Therefore, once the group itinerary is finalized on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, any change in flight time or date will forfeit the ticket. In the event this must occur, the traveler will be invoiced for the cost of the ticket following the session. Participants, companions and V.G. Young staff will travel as a group from Hobby airport in Houston to BWI airport on Saturday, April 28, 2012. The flight departs at 12:15 p.m. and the group must check in two hours prior to the departure. Transportation between the airport and hotel is also being finalized for the group arrival and departure from BWI airport. Should anyone choose to depart Washington on a different schedule, they will be responsible for making their own flight and airport shuttle arrangements while assuming any associated expenses.
